Final post on the city of Brussels

3 April 2010

Coming to my very final posting about this amazing and truly awesome city. After we spent several unforgetable days here I can honestly tell that I’m really satisfied and I want to come back, because the time was more than insufficient. Next time I will try to spend more than a week, especially as I saved a lot of money, hiring this excellent and really affordable Brussels apartments. We didn’t face any problems with the transportation or something else, we were very close to the most interesting places and there was even one very sweet and comfortable café next to our building where we drink coffee in the mornings.

To put it briefly, I loved Brussels, it was a really enjoyable and memorable trip, and of course my friends contributed a lot to be this experience so nice. No one wanted to leave, because the atmosphere of Brussels was amazing with this diversity of nationalities, we heard Arabic, Dutch, German, except the French and English. The people we connected with were also very hospitable and welcoming and the places we have been to were really interesting.

For those who are preparing a visit to Belgium’s capital, I can promise you that, like the most of the European countries, Belgium is really attractive and has a lot to offer to its tourists. There are a lot of museums and galleries, medieval buildings, parks, the chocolate in fact is as great and mouth-watering as we expected, the beer is really fantastic and specialists will confirm it. Generally speaking, everything was fabulous, we experienced a fantastic holiday break, the Brussels accommodation was just what we wanted and the only thing we can do is to share it with you and to dream about our next journey to Brussels.

The last day of my Berlin trip

1 April 2010

You can think about how depressed I was when I had to depart. I had so much fun there, I was non-stop in different places, I’ve have been aquainted with so many nice people, I danced all night on one of the greatest parties I can think of and now I can tell that Berlin has become one of my favorite towns, certainly if you are going because of the entertainment. Besides, I saw the chief sites, like the remaining of the wall, the Checkpoint Charlie, some of the monuments and galleries. Don’t think that I spent all my time in Berlin in parties and sleepless nights. I even made a dinner one evening for my friends in my Berlin Accommodation. The fact that there was a kitchen really made things easier for me, because I wanted to cook something special for the people who were so helpful to take me around Berlin and show me sites that I couldn’t see if I was alone. In this context I have to tell that am surely pleased of my choice of Apartments in Berlin, because it was absolutely convenient for me to move around, it was very close to the major places of interest and the rental accommodation was very pleasant, clean and perfect for my taste.

As a conclusion, I can only wish you to experience such relaxing and full of emotions and experiences vacation as the one I had. I have no doubts that this is not my last trip to Germany and definitely to Berlin, I just liked this city with all its aspects, strange and funny people, the great history and culture. Stay tune for my next adventures in some other interesting country.

Another travel day in Brussels

31 March 2010

Hello there, I am here again
I have experienced so many great things in this fantastic town of Brussels. I didn’t think that I will enjoy it so much. Belgium’s capital can offer nearly anything – in this city you can discover beautiful history monuments, the architecture is breathtaking-a really inspiring mixture of contemporary buildings and wide boulevards and, in meantime, there are entirely incredible medieval alleys and Gothic cathedrals like the Gudula Cathedral. Something that is likewise worth visiting is one park, which name I forgot, of course, it was too long, but the park was very large and pleasant with these green meadows and people enjoying their lunch time on the grass or in some of the pretty cafes – it was very refreshing. Especially after we had eaten so much and walked for hours, it was great to have a break in such a peaceful place.
During the time we spent in the capital of Belgium, we made an effort to go through as much as possible, so while we were resting in the apartments in Brussels, we searched for any information about which is the finest pub, where is the fanciest disco club and things like that. So, we made a decision to see how it was in the famed and almost an institution Les Brassins. Being the traditional type of restaurant, a local one, as we found out, Les Brassins wasn’t actually what we’ve thought, but the food was really tasty and I would go again. Later we thought of going back to our Holiday accommodation in Brussels, but we decided that sleeping is not fitting the schedule, so we went to a club and then to another one and I will easily notice that the night life in Brussels is completely terrific.Brussels Party

Traveling Berlin – dreaming on

27 March 2010

This is my next article about my Berlin excursion. As have understood in my last article I could spare a whole week in Berlin, so I wanted to uncover the city gradually. My idea was to tour the significant monuments, of course, but I didn’t want to feel the city like I was just a tourist, but to feel the real environment, to get together with a lot of the locals and figure out how they live, what they mainly prefer to do and have fun, you know, I wanted to get more practical information, not the same things and boring facts about the past, the wall and the story that we all know.
So, I wanted to witness so many things that I almost had no time to sleep and went to my apartment hotel in Berlin simply to take a shower and a nap to be prepared and relaxed for the next lively and enjoyable day. When I go somewhere I like the fun and want to enjoy everything possible for the days I have in the particular place. And the German capital without a doubt provided me the opportunity for one dynamic and, at the same time, really exciting holiday break, it wasn’t excatly a real holiday, because when I came back home I was more tired, but really full of positive emotions. This town is multicultural, here you can get together with people from every part of the world, there are many young people who learn or work or just have fun and this is the reason why this city is so appealing and exciting. There is always something incredibly interesting going on, whether it would be a concert, an exhibition, a great restaurant or bar, opera etc. Thank god I booked a really suitable Vacation accommodation in Berlin, because otherwise it would have been so unpleasant to spend a lot of money for an apartment that I hardly used.
See how people party in Berlin even when outside it is chilling cold:

Brussels holiday experience

25 March 2010

Hi, everyone, days ago I was in Belgium’s capital. My friend and I planned to go a foreign country and after short thinking we chose Brussels for our adventure. At first I didn’t know what to expect, as I only knew about the great chocolate and that here are the principal EU institutions and…that’s all. But now I can tell that the city surpass my expectations and I highly propose it as a tourist spot.

While we were Organizing our short holiday, we had to let some decent apartment to reside and luckily we found out this very cost-effective and perfect for us Berlin apartment. We were very pleased to notice that it was very comfy and we didn’t have to sleep on the floor or something because there was enough place for everyone and it was very close to the heart of the metropolis, so we didn’t have to spend time getting to the museums and points of interest we have planned to explore.

My friends and I didn’t have a lot of time to spend, so after we left the luggage in the Apartment Rental Berlin, we couldn’t wait but to get into our tour throughout the town and visit as much as possible for the short-term getaway. So, like the most visitors we began with the museums. In Brussels there are a lot and most of them totally must be visited. I find the Fine Arts Museum, the Royal Residence and the Grand Square as the most fascinating and I’m thankful that visited them. Surely, we went to the Manneken Pis and took pictures and thenwent to the Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese tower.

I learned about from the ciyt from Wikipedia

You can imagine how terribly exhausted we were, so we returned to our accommodation in Brussels to recharge the batteries for the next days, because as it came out Brussels offers a lot to see and do.
