Madrid Travel Advices P.3

28 January 2010

Hello Again,
I am coming to the end of my story about my Madrid holiday and what I experienced there. In my final post I would like to tell you some more about the people I met and the friends I made there. I stayed in my holiday apartments Madrid for nearly a week but my friend Diego helped me get to know the locals, join some parties with them, laugh with them and that was a great experience. What happens usually is that a traveller goes to a city, visits the main sights and then comes back to show pictures.

My trip to Madrid was something different. I got to stay alone in one of the apartments in Madrid which was a real deal since we could party in it with my new Spanish friends. It was close to the centre so I saved money on taxis and spent it wisely on booze ;) .

Anyway, back to the main topic- I really enjoyed my stay in Madrid, there were lots of things to do, my friends took me to the Royal Palace, also got to see a bullfight, the Museum of Modern Art and many more that I don’t remember the names of now. There are many interesting things to be seen in Madrid you only need some time and some people to show you around.

The night life is excellent and there are plenty of pubs to visit. I had the chance to see other places in Spain too while on holiday, but Madrid remains the most attractive place to me. I am looking forward to my next trip there. For further details I would suggest you check out Wikipedia.com as it’s the No1 source of information in the world!

Mаdrid holiday trip tips part 2

27 January 2010

Hi,
Here is another post about my experience travelling throughout Europe. I really loved it out there, the scenery, the people, the food, the sites and the history. My visit to Spain was the longest part of my trip and I stayed in Madrid for several days.

As I mentioned earlier this beautiful city has a lot to offer. I went to see the Madrid Palace which was a really amazing place with lots of things to see, also there is the old city with the cobbled tiny streets and many small shops and of course the Madrid bullfighting arenas. It was all truly amazing to see.

I have hundreds of pictures of sites in Madrid and still I don’t think I have seen it all. Oh and the food there was excellent, fresh and tasty, like nothing else you have tasted, definitely a must try. Madrid enchanted me with its architecture, the way they have combined modern and old. There are several museums that I visited and really enjoyed – The Fine Arts museum, Botanical Gardens and Royal castle, to name a few.

The best thing about my trip to Madrid was that I stayed in a Madrid cheap apartment that was just for me and was right in the centre of the city. This helped me stay close to all the action and entertainment the town offered. I really loved the country and the city and would truly recommend it.
I chose holiday apartments Madrid and it was really worth the money!

Madrid Travel Guide Part1

23 January 2010

Recently, I travelled to Spain to visit a friend of mine and I was truly amazed at the beauty this country has to offer. Being used to wide roads and huge buildings in the urban area where live, it was a big change for me to see such a different country with so much colour and a totally different lifestyle. It was really a breathtaking experience.

Spain Madrid

I spent seven days in Spain, four of which in Madrid. I don’t know about the other cities but this one was surely a true masterpiece. I loved it on first sight. The tiny streets, the huge palace, the bullfighting, everything was great. Ah, and of course the food.

The food is nothing like what I am used to eating, all home-cooked, tasty as if my mother has made it. I travelled a lot around Madrid looking at people, buildings, animals, and everything around me while I was trying to remember it forever. My trip was definitely worth it and Madrid as well as the rest of Spain are an excellent travel destination and I strongly advise anyone who has time to visit this place. Oh and last but not least I decided to save some money on a hotel and rented one of the small and cheap hotels in Madrid which saved me a lot of money. I recommend it. I will tell you more about the sites to see in Spain in one of my next posts.

I definitely recommend you try the Madrid apartments, they are cosy, cheap and much better than a hotel.
